The 123rd Annual National Congress Youth Awards Luncheon T hose honored during the Youth Awards Luncheon on Monday, July 8, included 1) Eagle Scout Scholarship Award winner David Garrison Hager of Florida; 2) the Americanism Poster Contest winner Brendan Hang (not present) of 1 Ithan Elementary School in Bryn Mawr, Pa.; 3) Bryan Habashi, the third consecutive Virginian to win the Knight Essay Contest, which focused on the contribution of the Navy to American independence; and 4) Air Force JROTC Cadet 2nd. Lt. Victoria Offei-Dua of Huntsville (Alabama) High School, a 2 sophomore taking AP history with a 4.36 grade-point average. Additonal coverage of the Youth Awards Luncheon and its participants will be featured in the Fall issue of SAR Magazine. The themes for upcoming poster contests also were announced: Francis Marion, "The Swamp Fox" (2014) and George Rogers Clark (2015). 3 22 4 SAR MAGAZINE
