forefathers sacrifced, fought and gave their lives during the
American Revolution.
We pledge ourselves today as members of the Sons of the
American Revolution to honor not only their memory and
service to our nation, but also to continue through our own
actions in modern times the promotion of patriotic education
needed to preserve the ideals and institutions of freedom for
upcoming generations. Patriotic education should never be
considered a luxury in America, but rather a necessity for
the preservation of individual liberty. Simply put, the effort
falls on our shoulders as a national patriotic lineage society
to continue to build upon the foundation of our patriot
ancestors who fought and died for us so many years ago!
