ing of the national anthem at the Huntsville, Ala., Symphony's New Year's Performance, "The American Way." John Sevier Chapter John Sevier Chapter SAR President Timothy K. Adams and the TNSSAR JROTC Chair John Lynch presented Jim Gentry Chevrolet of Kindall, Tenn., a Flag Certificate on Dec. 28, 2012. The recognition marks the chapter's appreciation for the Chevy dealership's demonstration of commitment to heritage and patriotism in the Kindall area. The large garrison flag (20 feet by 38 feet) atop a 60-foot aluminum pole can been seen for miles along the Interstate 24 corridor, waving 24/7. This dealership, in business since 1932, has become a landmark of Kindall's rich heritage. The SAR is proud of the leadership shown by Jim Gentry's dealership, and we hope this example of commitment to our heritage and patriotism will inspire others to fly the American flag with pride.
